A Celebration of music of the soul and A Night to Remember.

The End of the Season Concert is more than just a performance, it is a purposeful expression of culture, creativity, and community. Presented by UNITY Performing Arts Foundation, this annual summer production serves as a major fundraiser and a culminating celebration of a year’s worth of hard work, growth, and artistic achievement by our youth.

In 2025, we proudly present:

“A Tribute to the Music of the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s – Volume 1”,  a dynamic, multi-sensory journey through the greatest hits of three powerful decades in music history. Reimagined with breathtaking choral arrangements, live orchestration, soulful dance, and expressive spoken word, this concert offers audiences of all ages a rare and unforgettable artistic experience.

Our Purpose

Through this concert, UNITY seeks to:

  1. Honor and preserve the legacy of soulful music genres: R&B, soul, pop, jazz, and hip-hop, by creatively adapting them for choral performance and theatrical interpretation.

  2. Elevate young voices as vessels of heritage, history, and hope as they explore music that pre-dates them yet deeply resonates through universal themes.

  3. Inspire community unity through shared cultural appreciation and family-centered entertainment that transcends generations.

Our Goals

This production is designed to impact students, participants, and the community by:

  1. Providing our students with a high-level artistic and educational experience rooted in excellence, discipline, and collaboration.

  2. Offering performers the opportunity to build confidence, leadership, and self-expression through soulful art forms often underrepresented in mainstream arts education.

  3. Exposing audiences to an uplifting and inspiring concert that not only entertains but also enriches, teaches, and connects people through music.

  4. Creating a meaningful platform to raise vital funds to support UNITY’s year-round youth development programming, scholarships, and operational needs.

Why It Matters to the Community

UNITY’s concerts are uniquely positioned as substance-based alternatives to traditional fundraisers. They are community-building events and celebrations that uplift the spirit, engage families, and foster pride in local talent. Our productions make the arts accessible and inclusive, bringing together people from all walks of life to witness the transformative power of youth, music, and purpose.

They also serve as:

  1. A cultural archive, preserving the authenticity of soulful music in modern performance

  2. A developmental platform nurturing the artistic, personal, and professional growth of young people

  3. A symbol of hope and excellence, reflecting what is possible when a community invests in its youth

His arrangements bring a fresh, emotionally resonant twist to music classics of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, pushing young performers beyond their comfort zones into excellence. Under his leadership, the choir has earned international acclaim, including two world championship titles and six gold medals at the World Choir Games. But more than awards, Marshall's mission is to develop leaders of substance, integrity, and purpose through the discipline of the arts.  This concert is a reflection of his heart for the youth, his creative genius, and his deep belief in the power of soulful music to move, connect, and inspire across all generations.
